Daisy of Thorn and Tacky heißt die kleine Ente, die aufbrach die Welt zu bereisen.
Sie würde gerne viele andere kleine Bade- und Quitscheenten treffen und vielleicht
gar eine Foto von ihr mit ihnen nach Hause schicken.
Daisy of Thorn and Tacky is the name of the littly Duck. She left home to travel around
the world. Daisy woult like to meet many ohter rubber ducks and maybe even send a photo
of her and her rubber friends.

Started our next trip!
Spent 3 days driving to New Mexico. Poor Daisy was bored and tired and asked "ARE WE THERE YET" all the way! She prefers to FLY!
Its been a lazy time here so far! Except we were allowed to see some explosive training and see a car blow up! That was interesting!

Daisy and I spent the day in a Taxi driving 3 hours to Raleigh NC to catch a flight to New York. Of course we were in the middle of a winter snow storm and NC doesn't have the resources to deal with this much SNOW! So taxi got us to Raleigh- to only find that all the flights to NY were CANCELLED :(( We waited ALL day for a flight to Atlanta GA, where we were suppose to have a connecting flight to NY. Of course we left so late that our flight to NY left Atlanta without us. So we searched desperately online for another flight and found ONE that left for NY on that same night...we RAN all the way to next flight and boarded just before they closed the doors!
Spent 8 days in NY. We explored Time Square, Central Park, Uptown Manhattan, Rockefeller Island, 911 Museum...we had a great time!
We flew home on 25 January 2018 and on Friday 26 January we started our next adventure!!!

Another trip to New Mexico. Daisy and I spent the week exploring Albuquerque and we even tried dinner at a Brazilian steak house! We enjoyed a relaxing week .

Daisy spent 2 days in Japan, site seeing and eating lots of sushi. It was an exhausting trip home so we almost slept through Thanksgiving! We arrived home about midnight the night before Thanksgiving, slept most of the day and then we (Daisy, Brian and I ) went to Cracker Barrel for a Thanksgiving meal.

Trip to Guam. I thought Daisy might find a temporary home there, but there were only 2 geocache sites on the island (that I could determine) and they were both Earth Caches. So Daisy spent 2 weeks exploring Guam, she even got to ride the "DUCK" BOAT! It took us on a tour of part of Guam and then drove right out into the ocean where we floated for awhile before returning to land. They said no quacking inside but Daisy quacked anyway and we got lots of stern looks from the Japanese tourist :))) We enjoyed our visit to Guam.

Trip to Charlotte NC.
Spend a day at Carowinds Amusement Park riding the roller coasters and eating/drinking lots of candy, soda, hot dogs with the kids. Daisy may have felt a bit sick from all the rides and food, so we spent the next day recuperating.
Then we spent the 17th at Charlotte Douglas International saying "Goodbye" to Kayla, Brayden. Lincoln and Ronan as they returned home to Germany :(( Lots of tears from both me and Daisy...

Took trip to Myrtle Beach SC, played in the water park, floated on the lazy river for 4 days. She loved the water (even though it was indoor and a bit warm). She was willing to share her floatie with the kids, as long as they kept her moving in the water.
Next trip is Charlotte NC and Carowinds with the kids.

Daisy flew (on a plane, it would have been too far for her little wings to fly all the way!) to New Mexico with me for a week. We spent the week site seeing and taking pictures. We were too busy to geocache, so she just tagged along where ever i went.

Traveled to Philadelphia PA (USA), Then to Charlotte NC via American Airlines-a very long flight. Spent a couple days in Charlotte site-seeing, then a 6 hour drive to Swansboro, NC. Where she settled in; waiting for her next adventure.
