Quilter's Thimble

This is a special Quilter's Thimble - notice the brass tip which keeps the needle from sliding off. I've quilted many quilts with this friend.

There were instructions to take this bug to Sisters, Or (5 miles away) for the quilters festival. We went to Sisters and inquired as to when the festival happens. It is in July.....so we are going to take it over to the coast with us and let it enjoy a little of the beach here...it has 7 to 8 months to get back to quilting!
