Many thanks to MartyBartFast (and all the other Brit cachers) for helping King Pong make the most of his detour across the pond and getting him to the last "Wayland" cache listed on GC.com. Thanks for the chalk souvenir as well!

Now, back home to Boston! I suspect the best way back may be to move toward London and Heathrow; or possible to move toward the Netherlands or Berlin and take a jump through one of the stargate caches to Central Massachusetts; or maybe it's best just to leave things to fate and hope King Pong will meet a geocacher that is headed for the US.

King Pong has now achieved it's objective and needs to make it's way home to the USA, I put a piece of genuine ridgeway chalk (not from the Wayland Smithy monument but from the nearby geology) in the ziplok bag for it to take home as a souvenir . I took a few pictures of King Pong on the burial chamber which I'll upload in the next few days.

I decided to pick this up and take it along to Waylands Smithy (which is only a couple of miles away) in the middle of the night. I collected it at 02:30 am, and then went along to Waylands Smithy. I was able to drive to within 800m along the Ridgeway track, and then had to leave the car and walk the rest of the way. When I got to within about 100m of the cache (at 03:00 am) I could see a camp fire in the woods and there were people moving about, I was tempted to go in and say hi but I wasn't sure how many there were or what they were up to and I wouldn't have been able to get to the cache with them about so I decided to make a quiet retreat.

I'll drop the TB off at the Smithy, but it will probably be next week and during the day!.
