Found this nice cat in a hidingplace not far from our home. The kids like him a lot. They took him to visit their grandparents. They have a cat named Miep. The day after tomorrow we are going on a short holiday. We will take GeoCat with us, and find a nice new hidingplace for him.

Dingo01 hat mich aus diesem gemütliche kleinen Motel heute um 13:15 mitgenommen. Ich werde mit ihm in der Gegend herumreisen, Fotos nach Hause schicken und vielleicht andere Katzen treffen.

Dingo01 found me in this cosy little Motel at 13:15. I´m going to accompany him in order to travel around a bit, send some photos to my friends back home and meet some other cats (if possible).

  • At the River Rhine (South of Wesel, Germany) ... the Rhein Cache (GCTMT2) is not far away.....
  • North-west coast canoe... And – believe it or not: there is a VERY interesting exhibition about the life and culture of the indians of the Plains and a second one about those of the Nort-West Coast who live round Seattle and Vancouver! Have a look at me at the bow of a real wooden indian canoe! A REAL canoo, not a fake made of plastic!
  • Westphalian Cat Pow Wow Big surprise: in the shop of the museum I met a band of cats and kitties. We talked a lot about life of cats in Germany compared to our way of life in the US. Really nice guys, believe me – Dingo01 added a photo of our meeting.
  • GeoCat in CentrO Dingo01 needed a plug adaptor for electrical devices he bought in England (English plugs have three pins and don´t fit into American or European sockets....) - so we went to the CentrO in Oberhausen (the largest Shopping Mall of Europe) to buy one.
  • Old Coal Mine in Essen, Germany We don´t have coal mines in Florida, do we? So we visited an old coal mine in the north of Essen. Did you know that people went down 3000 ft. into the earth to dig out coal? It´s dark, dusty and hot down there. Dangerous job.
  • Meeting Sissy Aug., 26th: Today we visited Peter, Dingo01´s brother. He is an artist and lives in Alpen, near Xanten (a town which was founded 2000 years ago by the Roman emperor Trajan). Dingo01 introduced me to Sissy, Peter´s tomcat. Sissy is a very experienced cat... it was a VERY interesting conversation!!!!
  • Linkes-Ufer near Xanten GeoCat and I logged Linkes-Ufer (GCP6KK) and then found the pedestrian and bike ferry near Xanten on the western bank of the River Rhine. Nice location and a pub only a few yards away :-)
  • Lembeck Castle Sept., 7th: today Dingo01 and I visited Schloss Lembeck, an old moated castle in Westphalia.
  • Lembeck Castle #2 Lembeck Castle is really beautiful - here I am entering it through the castle´s gate....
  • Castle Moat ... all around the castle is a broad and deep moat
  • Windmill near the Dutch border Sept. 9th: this is an old wind mill Dingo01 and I visited today.
  • Wind mill2 this mill is in Tönisberg, a little town not far from Holland. And the windmills in Holland look different....
  • Cache mit Folgen - Cache with consequences Sept. 9th: here I am in the "Cache With Consequences" (GCH9GV)... not far away from the old wind mill Dingo01 and I visited today. It was a nice time with Dingo01, but I want to meet other friends, too. Time to say goodbye, but we´ll stay in contact. Bye again and cheers, mate!
  • TB Hotel Efeubusch Here I am in TB Hotel Efeubusch near Duesseldorf International Airport in Germany where Dingo01 found me on 8-22-06. It´s a nice little place for TBs but now I want to start travelling around to fulfill my mission... have adventures, meet cats all around the world send home pictures to my friend Stephen in Tampa, Florida, USA.
  • Tampa - Florida Want to know where I come from? Well, Renate, a friend of Dingo01 and I will show you a map of Florida, the Sunshine State....
  • Rhein Cache Aug 22nd, 2006: After we left the TB Hotel, Dingo01 and I visited two nice caches near the river Rhine but didn´t meet cats. The First was the Mühlenbergcache (GCV1J9), and the second was the Rhein Cache (GCTMT2). Your uncle can show you (on a map) where they are . In the Rhine Cache (GCTMT2) I´ve met a nice little lizard who told me that the lower Rhine area is ideal for lizards and cats. Dingo01 took a photo of the lizard, me and the rest of this cache and a second one of the surrounding l

Meow! Guten Tag from Germany! My uncle Kyle took me on a trip to Germany to see the World Cup from Florida, USA. I got to see some castles and even ride on the Rhine River! Hopefully I can travel around and see some other cats around the world. Thank you for the great trip!
