Now isn't that just like a scatterbrained beach bunny? To mistake the river for the ocean and hop right in? That nutty GeoGena has taken a side trip on her own adventure. Who knows? Maybe she'll be found and her trip will continue, but in the meantime, I'm listing her in the Travel Bug Graveyard. Thanks to everyone who helped her along on her journey, and don't feel bad, BajaBetty -- GeoGena had a good run. Happy geocaching! -- honeychile

Today I lost Geo Gena when we were caching. We stopped at the Chinese Toll Bridge Cache near Creston BC. When I was getting ready to leave I dropped Geo Gena in the river. She was a faster swimmer than I was, even though I chased her for a mile downstream.
Sorry I lost her, she was almost at her destination,

Was in Cache Creek for a wedding, so I thought I'd pick up Gena and give her a lift to the St Eugene Mine Ruins on my way home. She'll do some caching on the way, but will be at her destination by Tuesday. I'm sure she'll love all the scenery along the way.

Was nice to have company of Geo Gena for a couple of hours. This is our last cache before Vancouver Island so thought it best to leave her here in hope she'll get a ride towards her destination. She's had quite a trip already. Happy to have been a small part of it.

Sorry to have held onto Gena so long! Winter came, and I just couldn't get out caching....anyway, she's on the move again, heading south with any luck, and at least in the right province....

I was heading back to Prince George from Edmonton, so thought I'd at least get Gena into the right province. She'll be moving on soon, south with any luck! She perked up right away when she saw the mountains, the bighorn sheep, the elk, the moose, etc., etc.....

  • Rocky Mountains Gena works on her tan with the mountains of Jasper National Park in the background before heading to the cache to await her next ride. Give this little gal a lift to BC.

Geo Gina stopped by the Quadrillian cache but even this little girl was to big to stay in the cache. Oh well it's westward we go.

  • What's a Girl To Do? Gena can't fit in this cache beside the North Saskatchewan River so she'll have to keep travelling.
