Large coin with heft. Unusual shape of a rectangle. The front of the coin shows four ticks of various species. The ticks are done in raised metal with slight brown enamel. The background texture is very nice. The rim has script that reads "Be Tick Aware-The Tick ID coin" and "Lone Star, Pacific Coast, American Dog and Black Legged (to identify each tick in the raised medallion)". The reverse has lots of enamel and the metal work that is confined to line work. The medallion shows mountains, sky, river and plants. The rim scrip says "Hidden in the Natural Beaury of Mother Nature, a Blood Thirsty Parasite Lies in Wait". Very Nice Coin!. -----------So many of my GCs have been muggled that I only release new ones as virtuals. If you do not approve, please leave it in the cache for a chacher who understands. Thanks.

Thanks to the 2023 Christmas Day blizzard my daughter, JMVonFange, was delayed in heading home so we spent the bonus time together comparing our caching statistics including trackables discovered and looking through our geocaching pictures. JM has discovered significantly more trackables that I have mainly because while we were staying home during the pandemic she spent time online and spotted numerous TBs that were being shared virtually. After looking at the TB page for each TB that she discovered that I didn't I found a number of TB Codes necessary to discover the trackable where included on the TB Page or in the photo gallery. Sometimes there was an attempt to obsure or hide the TB Code that was not entirely successful making it easy to determine the code needed to discover the travel bug. I hope that even though virtual discoveries are becoming less common, you will not delete my discovered log. I only have two trackables that are activated and will gladly share the codes with you via the geocaching message center if you are interested in discovering them.
