This travel bug is part of a badge requirement to earn it through the Girls Scouts. It would like to visit a cache in the area of the service unit that produced it - SUFFOLK COUNTY, New York.

About This Item

This badge was earned by my daughter, geocacher - Blackbelt. One of the requirements was to display patriotism. She would like for fellow geocachers to be reminded of the horrible tragedy our country faced on September 11, 2001. This patch/travel bug will now serve as a reminder to all that the people we lost on that day will not be forgotten.
