Sorry for violating your request to keep this coin out of events, but I did take it with me to the 10 Years! Hampton Roads, VA event, just to substantiate its arrival on the Outer Banks. It never left my hands, so I kept it safe. I'm posting a few photos of its tour of the OBX, including beach and welcome center. Now retrieving it to take it on my trip west in a couple of weeks. Will drop in a cache when I get as far west as I can get, hopefully at least New Mexico, if not CA.

Somehow this coin feels like an old friend already. We lived on the Outer Banks for over 27 years, so I was excited to find this hitchhiker near our new home in the mountains of Western NC! Upon checking the map of its travels, I see that it has spent a little time in one of my high elevation caches, Black Balsam Berry Bags. Let me see if I can get it a bit farther down the road toward OBX.
