Revisited this cache with Chartman and picked up "Candella the Octopus". The route to the cache had been severely damaged by Katrina, but is still passable. We had to leave our bikes part way in and go through on foot. Beautiful day for January!

Candella was retrieved from the CT hotel and will be taking a long over due trip to the beautiful Florida Keys. Candella will then be placed with great care into a seaside cache. Candella will accompany 2 first-timers on their maiden trek next week in FL and I am she she will enchant them as she has each of us. Otis, the basset hound pup, was very excited to meet her and tried to burry his head in the tree stump to resue her from the CT TB Hotel.
