"The Wanderer" Raggedy Andy TB

I'm a guy and I'm in a race - get the picture? I WANT TO WIN IT ALL! Help me visit as many caches, in as many states (and state capitals) as possible. Take me to the ocean (I might have red hair, but I don't burn.), take me to any major sporting event, and most of all - click those cameras! The camera loves me! Do I look familiar to you? I am Raggedy Andy; brother to the infamous Raggedy Ann. Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I came to be in the 1920's. Unlike Raggedy Ann, I am mischievous and adventurous (never had a real opportunity to be adventurous though); however, just as lovable.

I am tired of being lugged around with Ann and her little tea party friends, always doing the right thing, playing make-believe, tumbling down stairs and, if you can believe it, even allowing birds to use my hair to build a nest - ugh!

Don't worry, I still know the values and beliefs our creator, John Barton "Johnny" Gruelle, held dear when he created Raggedy Ann in 1915 - kindness, generosity, cooperation, friendship, and love. However, I just have to get out there and see the world and what better way to do that than with the help of cachers?

I heard this song the other day recorded in 1961 by Dion - it actually reached #2 on the charts - and it inspired me.
