Campaign History

C.R.S. "Rose" - After creation, C.R.S. Rose remained dormant on the deployment yard for close to a year.  C.R.S. Rose was then commissioned to begin her tour early in 2012.  C.R.S. Rose was equipped with upgraded fuel cell technology to allow for Ethanol based blending and is currently in active assignment for the search of this fuel source.  C.R.S. "Rose" has been employed as a Work Horse of sorts for her typical missions with offroading and trailering capabilities.  You may also find "Rose" deployed in tactical shelter mode allowing for the temporary bunking of her pilot at various Geocaching gatherings.

RET - C.R.S. Hondy was commissioned from previous deployment out of the Owen Sound Battalion and was proven to exceed minimum requirements for campaigns throughout Central Ontario. C.R.S. Hondy has seen active deployment in the Swift Rapids Road region as well as the Near North logging country campaigns. At the time of takeover, C.R.S. Hondy has been retrofitted with a junior troop transport mechanism and is currently undergoing further retrofitting for another, second junior troop transport provision.

Actually, we discovered this way back in April 2007 before we switched names. Saw it on Hundy! Many smiles and many caches since then, considering we switched names at 50 caches (Was graham-s), a scary 31xx caches ago!... (Seen Hondy too, but that didn't count! (since it was returning cache retrieval materials at the time)

hondy, hondy, hondy. i finally met hondy. saw her by the curb in toronto, and then swifteroo came out of the building :) she took us caching around mississauga on a gorgeously sunny day.. the kind of day where you like to drive around with the windows down. well, i sure worked for that! everytime we stopped to jump out for a cache, i had to help (grab and YANK) the window back up! hahahaha awesome.

i also officially discovered my old sharpie that is now a TB. i looked at it through the snorkeling mask that is the headrest of the front passenger seat, and saw some fishies too!!

thanks for a great day of funny tombstones, lake breezes, pen slurps, 25% off maple candies, beers on the patio, invisible micros, bruno's supermarket, burrito boyz, tagged swans, dolichopodids and other random insects, etc. etc. etc. :)

    • my sharpie TB as seen through the snorkeling mask headrest. can you see the shark on the sign in the distance?
    • big fishies seen through hondy's snorkeling mask of a headrest!
