Current Goal

My mission is to travel as far as possible, as fast as possible, and into and out of as many caches as possible. I am in a travel bug race that ends June 1, 2011 and could really use your help to win. For details of the race and to check in on my position, please go to www.nwogeocachers.com.

About This Item

I am the only American Racing Elephant left on earth, and I need to prove to my cousin from the north that I can beat him! Please bring me to all the caches you find! I like really long migrations! Especially over large bodies of water!! I also like caches that are popular for bugs like me, I don't like to stay in one place for too long. If you find me, please hide me back in an active cache within a week,

What better way to celebrate the end of my roadtrip, and the last cache that the Elephant & I will visit together before I set him free, than to honour the amazing Terry Fox -whose dream was to run across Canada in order to raise funds for cancer research. I understand that this TB began his trek in a "Terry Fox" memorial cache near Thunder Bay, Ontario (where Terry Fox's epic trek ended). Now that the Elephant has successfully completed his journey across canada, we visited the city where Mr. Fox grew up, and paid our respects.

...and now it's on to bigger and better things. May the force be with you.
