Alberta is a Minnesota Moose and would like to visit other cold areas where moose live. Please take her to all provinces in Canada and then return to Minnesota. Even though Alberta stayed in an Ammo Box for three years, she has visited, MN, WI, ND, CO, and NV. Please keep her moving.

    We brought Alberta the Moose home to northern Wisconsin with us. We know she'll love the nice cool winters, and there are moose within about an hour of us both in Michigan and Wisconsin - in fact one was spotted by folks off and on for many months just 25 miles from here. We won't be heading toward Canada until next year, so we hope someone else will come along and move her toward the provinces there long before then. In the meantime we're sure she'll enjoy the very nice cache we put her in along the beautiful Wisconsin River Rainbow Flowage Area. The fall colors are spectacular right now and the water has risen substantially due to lots of much needed rain. We introduced Alberta to our Canada moose before we dropped her off (see the pic). Thanks for sharing this little cutie with us. Happy travels to her.

    We were pleasantly surprised to find this cool moose in GC17120. It apparently escaped from thouago some time during the last two weeks. It probably liked the looks of the nice river near this cache! Perhaps thouago didn't have time to log the drop yet, but this little critter is already safe in our hands. We'll be sure to take good care of him until we find another nice cache to drop him in.
