This pair of clogs wants to travel from cache to cache and from country to country!
And needless to say...Pictures are very welcome!
The original pair as can be seen dancing on the picture below have been nicked. A new pair was sent over long distance to meet the TB tag and make it complete again.
These clogs are Dutch traditional foodwear!
A klomp the Dutch name for a clog. Klompen are whole feet clogs.
Approximately 3 million pairs of klompen are made each year. They are sold throughout the Netherlands. A large part of the market is for tourist souvenirs. However some Dutch people, particularly farmers, market gardeners and gardeners still wear them for everyday use.
