THIS GEOCOIN DOES NOT BELONG TO YOU, IT BELONGS TO US. WE RELEASED THIS SO WE CAN ALL SHARE AND ENJOY IT. PLEASE DO NOT STEAL THIS ITEM!

"I live in this great green land on the northeast Pacific Rim called 'Cascadia.' Cascadia is named not only after the mountain range, but above all, for the white waters plunging down the entire north Pacific slope, joining earth and sea and sky in endless life-giving cycles," David McCloskey (1994).

This traveler would like to visit geocaches near ocean beaches, bays, rivers, streams, lakes, and ponds in Cascadia, the great Pacific Northwest. From Alaska, to British Columbia, Washington, Oregon, and Northern California.

Cascadia is a state of mind!

About This Item

Cascadia is a State of Mind

One of 2000 Cachekinz created to celebrate the Geowoodstock 8 megaevent, to be held July 3rd, 2010, in Carnation, Washington (GC1QM7K.)

The tag depicts a whale or salmon in the Native American "Haida" style. It's described as a salmon, but I think it's a whale. Either way, it represents Cascadia nicely!

Peeking over the shoulder of rygemini. CO of the cache was a bit leery of anyone just walking out with his container, so could only discover at the counter. Sorry, not moving any bugs just at the moment, so left where it was.
