Whitneyi is a brave little elf owl, willing to range far from her home in southeastern California. She's eager to see the world, and wants to visit as many places as possible, and eventually visit all seven continents. She's very restless and would rather not stay in one place for very long. She'd especially appreciate having her picture taken in various places and having the pictures uploaded here!

About This Item

The Elf owl is the smallest owl in North America. Mature Elf Owls are 5"-6" talls and weigh 1.5 oz. Elf Owls live in the Southwest, and migrate into Mexico during the Winter. Only two species of owl in North America migrate; the other is the Flammulated Owl. Elf Owls prefer to dine on insects, but will also eat mice and lizards.
