This coin (De gek = The fool = The joker) competed in the 12 Provinciën Geocoinrace 2011 that took place all year in the Netherlands in 2011. The coin finished as 26th in a field of 150 contestants.
The race has ended and after it did return to its owner, it is now time to see more of the world. Hence, it has been dropped somewhere in some remote cache in the US from where it may travel far and beyond. Please make sure you drop this coin in a cache that is unlikely to be muggled or found by inexperienced cachers that do not recognize this piece as a traveler: caches that you need to work, travel, climb or walk for!! Pictures of the coin's whereabouts are really much appreciated!.
