With all of the wonderful public land in Alaska there is no doubt that a state park, national park, national forest, wildlife refuge, game unit, or city park is somewhere near you and in the direction you are heading. Alaska Geographic is a non-profit organization that supports these public lands with education programs, publication of books about these places and financial support through sales from our 48 bookstores. We believe the more you know about Alaska’s public lands, the more you’ll care about their future. Go ahead - use this travel bug as an excuse to visit a park, forest, wildlife refuge in Alaska!
