Submarines Once, Submarines Twice...

This Travel Bug is sent out in honor of all those in the submarine force here in the US and all around the world.  It is a unique brotherhood rich in history and traditions and normally isn't heard of other than in the movies.  Our family takes pride in our submariner and wants to share a little of that pride with others. Please keep this bug moving in honor of all those that serve under the deep blue sea!

Stopped by the Mall for a visit with views of the National Capitol and the Washington Monument. It's a rainy March day and will be soon turning to snow.

We took the TB for a visit to the Washington Navy Yard. Near the Naval History Museum is the sail of the USS Balao (SS-285) that saw action during WW-2.
