Hi, I am Ned and I would like to go home - Springfield (Vermont, USA).
Than send me to holiday across the USA and take some pictures in big cities with me. Thanks:-)
Ned Flanders, full name Nedward, is a genuinely well-meaning good-natured person and is one of the few in Springfield to whom that description applies. Though firmly religious, he can be timid and something of a pushover. He is a devout Christian and strictly follows the Bible as literally as possible and is easily shocked when challenged on any point of dogma. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ned_Flanders)

It's true that Rhode Island does not have a Springfield, Rhode Island. SEE http://springfield.ftldesign.com/ There is, however, have a Smithfield, Rhode Island, which I will bring Ned to because I live there. When I can, I will find a cache closer to Springfield, Vermont, in which to leave Ned.

Howdy Neighbor!
I had no luck finding Springfield in Boston, so I traveled down to D.C. to the National Archives. Surely I would find something there to help me find my way home! I visited the National Archives, visited the Smithsonian, found my picture on a book, and generally enjoyed a great day. Not much geocaching, though - the GPS malfunctioned. Dagnabbit! I am no closer to home, but I'm not giving up. Springfield or bust!

I worked hard today in Washington, D.C., trying to find directions to Springfield. First I checked at the National Museum of American History, hoping it would have an Simpsons exhibit with a map. There was no exhibit, but I did find two books. I'm even on the cover of one! Sadly, neither book had directions. Then I swung by Congress, hoping to find my representatives. They're on recess, so no help there. I tried the National Archives - spent hours searching - but unsuccessfully. So I went to the Museum of Natural History and had an ice cream. Back to the drawing board!

Howdy Neighbor! What an exciting day I had today!
First, I went to Boston Public Garden, where I saw fall colors and a pond with ducks, geese, and swans. Then I tagged along to a couple of geocaches while walking around, mostly through Beacon Hill. After that, I stopped by the Massachusetts State House, then went to the Boston Commons and Park Street Church. Still had a tiny bit of energy, so I went to the Granary Burial Grounds, where such patriots as Paul Revere and Samuel Adams are laid to rest. I couldn't get in, because the entrance was guarded by a giant dog. Finally, I found a park ranger and was going to ask how to get to Springfield. Unfortunately, he was busy, so I guess I'll continue my search some other day.

Howdy Neighbor! I've made it to Boston. Boston is beautiful in Autumn! (Assuming I upload correctly) I am posting two photos, one of me with the Boston skyline behind me, with part of the USS Constitution visible on the right. It was taken right by the Freedom Trail. The other is of me next to some flowers. Don't forget to stop and smell the roses! They tell me there's a Springfield right here in Massachusetts, but I'm sticking to my goal of Springfield Vermont. I guess there are Springfields all over this country! Who knows where I'll end up? It's fun just to see a new place.

LOL! As soon as we saw Ned, we grabbed him - being huge fans of his and his Springfield neighbors. Took a look at his mission, and we can move him from Yosemite all the way back home to Boston. He'll be so close to his destination, and in only a few months of traveling! But of course, our plan might take a surprise turn. Who knows where he might visit next! We'll only know when we find it!
