"Plainsboro Preserve: GreenTrail" (GC38462), the last cache that this trackable was recorded in, went missing sometime between 9/28/2013 and 2/8/14 and racked up multiple DNFs for several months afterwards. On 11/24/2014 the cache was archived and presumed permanently missing.

On 3/3/2017 geocacher "Brownpineys" discovered the missing "Plainsboro Preserve: GreenTrail" cache several hundred feet away from its original hiding place, not too far from another geocache "PROGNE SUBIS" (GC2HC9Q). The cache was returned to the Plainsboro Preserve Nature Center. Your trackable (TB3E6ZC) was not in the container at that time.

It was discovered that the Green Cache had been accumulating multiple signatures from geocachers over the years. After comparing the signatures, we determined that a little over 20 signatures in the log book for "Plainsboro Preserve: GreenTrail" were in fact people who thought they had discovered "PROGNE SUBIS".

If you wish to look for this trackable, I would suggest you contact people who made a claim to finding "PROGNE SUBIS" between September 29, 2013 and March 2, 2017 as one of those people may have picked it up.

Good luck.

EDIT: Apparently geocacher "Saplings" visited the Green Cache on 2/18/2012 and did not see it there, so it seems that someone who found the Green Cache before that date picked it up.

Retrieved long lost TB from GCZVVZ (Vista) today. It was buried deep in the bottom of all the swag. Not sure how long it's been in this cache, but I noticed that there was only one person that logged a find after it was placed and before it was reported missing, hmmmm. I will send it back on it's was south soon.
