Current Goal

Glider is one of Grandma’s strongest and most trusted beanie babies. Grandma isn’t able to travel anymore so she asked a select few of her beanie babies to journey to new areas she may not have seen before and to report back to her about their adventures. But she also needs your help. Glider needed to find safe, dry resting places to stay while she traveled and she thought, “What better place than in a Geocache..” So she is hoping you will take her and let her spend a few days with you and when you are ready, to take her to her next Geocache location. Grandma would also love to see pictures of where Glider travels so she can put them in her scrap book . Glider hopes that someday she will return to Denver, Colorado (Castle Rock would be a perfect landing place) and that she can once again become a part of Grandma’s collection.

About This Item

Glider, about to begin her journey.

Glider has spent most of her life in Grandma's apartment, sometimes chatting with her but mostly just sitting quietly. She never realized Grandma was preparing her all along and that she would be chosen for such a challenging role. Glider is a wonderful travel mate and seems to make everyone's lives a little happier when she is with them. Glider loves to swoop around the house after everyone’s in bed and she usually eats any cookies that are left on the table.
