Amigurumi is the Japanese art of knitting or crocheting small stuffed animals and anthropomorphic creatures. The word is derived from a combination of the Japanese words ami, meaning crocheted or knitted, and nuigurumi, meaning stuffed doll. Amigurumi are typically animals, but can include artistic renderings or inanimate objects endowed with anthropomorphic features.

Amigurumi (dt. gestricktes Bündel) ist eine japanische Strick- oder Häkelkunst, mit der kleine Tierpuppen, Gegenstände, Lebensmittel oder auch anthropomorphe Objekte hergestellt werden. In der Regel entsprechen die Amigurumifiguren dem Kindchenschema oder ähneln Mangacharakteren und -wesen. Umgangssprachlich werden auch die Figuren selbst statt der Handarbeitsmethode Amigurumi genannt. Die kleinen Puppen eignen sich zum Spielen, Sammeln oder zum Beispiel auch als Schlüsselanhänger.
