Phew.....this got to be a long hot walk by the time I wrapped it up! LOL

I had often wondered about these little lakes too....it was disappointing to see them close up....poorly maintained and covered in gang graffiti...this SHOULD be a nice little area for the local residents.

In any event, I enjoyed the excuse to spend some time outdoors over my lunch break.

P.S. (It's curious that the Germans logged the find on the site in German but signed the log book in English! I guess they wanted to make every who DIDN'T make the find work. LOL)

I was able to make the find without issue and was kneeling in the shade of a nearby tree when I was accosted by a gang of muggles....probably 10 or 12 of them!! Short little guys with big beaks, crazy looking feet and feathers!! It looked like the confrontation was going to turn ugly when they realized I didn't have any "goodies" for them.

Fortunately, I was able to sign the log and beat a hasty retreat before they threw down on me. LOL

Wow! I had a couple of surprises on this nice little walk over my lunch break....First, that bridge is a bit dodgey, eh? I was wondering if I was going for a dip in the creek for a bit. LOL Second....well....I'll let the next finder enjoy the second surprise on their own. :D

It was wicked hot and humid as we made this, our 8th and last, find of the day....the storm had blown over and man did it get hot and sticky fast afterwards! :)

This is a neat little area....we had no idea it was there.
