The mission of this Travel Bug 'The Tortoise' is to be the first of the two released Travel Bugs (The Tortoise and The Hare) to raise £1000 pounds for The National Autistic Society (a condition a member of my immediate and extended family have).
A side mission is to prove that 'The Tortoise' is still quicker than 'The Hare' in completing this goal!

Once you have helped him can you please ensure he is quickly placed back in the same or another cache as soon as possible giving him the best chance of finishing the race first!
They both like UK travel only and welcome uploaded photos of them with their finders!
When claiming you have helped him on his mission you will need to log this in the normal way on this site and include the receipt reference number you will get on the final confirmation screen at:

Any photos you take please upload them as well so we can see him on his travels.
Finally - when he achieves his mission we are happy for you to keep him (as long as you are the one who takes the raised amount over the £1000 target).
