  This trackable is Amerikana 3 in a series of 4 and has particular significance to those familiar with the music of Thomas Dolby. Its goal is to travel as far and wide as possible. Anything goes! However, please do not remove it from a cache if you will not place it in another within a couple of days. Please log your placement promptly. If you take this trackable somewhere interesting a photo would be appreciated. If you are a member of Thomas's on-line community (The Flat Earth Society) you should take a photo of yourself with it and attach it to this page. Amerikana TB

This trackable item carries the logo of Thomas Dolby's first release for 18 years, entitled Amerikana. If you are interested in hearing the music associated with it you can find it on the web - but exclusively for online community members. Amerikana is the first EP in a series of three. These downloadable releases are not commercially available. In the early part of 2011 a new album, entitled A Map Of The Floating City will be released and will feature the tracks of the three EP's plus extra tracks. Found this this afternoon with Wonkey Donkey. It looked lovely, but I am useless when it comes to sending these on with their journies, so didn't want to pick it up, as I have no plans to go caching soon. If it is still there in a few weeks I will come back and move it on its way!
