2CV-Eine Ente auf Reisen

Hallo, ich bin 2CV, auch Ente genannt.
mein Ziel ist es, nach Paris zu gelangen, den Ort, an dem ich 1948 erstmal der Öffentlichkeit vorgestellt wurde.
Dann lasst mich weiterreisen, um den Zauber der Ente in die ganze Welt zu bringen.

Hello, I´m 2CV, also known as Duck.
my intention is to go to Paris, the Place I was fist introduced to public in 1948.
After this please let me travle on, to show the magic of "the Duck" all over the world.

„Entwerfen Sie ein Auto, das Platz für zwei Bauern in Stiefeln und einen Zentner Kartoffeln oder ein Fässchen Wein bietet, mindestens 60 km/h schnell ist und dabei nur drei Liter Benzin auf 100 km verbraucht. Außerdem soll es selbst schlechteste Wegstrecken bewältigen können und so einfach zu bedienen sein, dass selbst eine ungeübte Fahrerin problemlos mit ihm zurechtkommt. Es muss ausgesprochen gut gefedert sein, sodass ein Korb voll mit Eiern eine Fahrt über holprige Feldwege unbeschadet übersteht. Und schließlich muss das neue Auto wesentlich billiger sein als unser 'Traction Avant'. Auf das Aussehen des Wagens kommt es dabei überhaupt nicht an.“
Citroën-Direktor Pierre-Jules Boulanger erteilte 1934 diesen Auftrag an Konstrukteur André Lefèbvre. Er entwickelte daraufhin ein minimalisiertes aber zähes Kleinfahrzeug, die 2CV, in Deutschland liebevoll ENTE genannt.

"Design a car that provides enought space for 2 farmers with boots on and fifty kilogramms of potatoes or a small barrel of wine at least 60 km/h fast but only needs 3 liters gas on 100 km. Futhermore it should be able to handle very bumpy roads and i should be as easy to handle as possible, so that evan a woman wich is not trained in driving could handle it. It schould be well-sprung, so that evan a basket full of eggs could overcome a bumpy ride. At least the car should be much ceaper than our "Traction Avant".The look of the car is not important." Citoen-Director Pierre-Jules Boulanger gave this mission to Constukter André Lefébvre. Because of this he designed a minimalised but bulldog small vehicle, the 2CV, in Germany lovingly called "the DUCK".
