Current Goal

To visit caches in Humboldt, Saskatchewan, in memory of those players and staff, who passed away or were injured in the tragic crash on April 6th, 2018.

On April 6th, 2018, a bus carrying one of the SJHL ( Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League) teams, the Humboldt Broncos, was on its way to a playoff off game when it was involved in a collision with a transport truck. Communities from across Canada put on fundraisers which were very successful.  A cacher friend of mine, Esiban, picked up this ribbon while visiting family in Alberta, and gave it to me since I have lived in Saskatchewan and have a fondness for hockey. 

 

The colours of this ribbon have now become instantly recognizable for many Canadians.  R.I.P. to all those souls now playing hockey in the other Great White North.

My good friend 'Keep Calm and Rescue On' and I love to geocache and we have lots of fun together. She passed this TB on to me to travel to different places and different caches.

My heart squeezed with sorrow when the news of the bus accident came out. As a mother myself, I can't imagine losing a child and I send all my love out to those who lost someone special that day. RIP
