To travel downunder to Australia and return to New Orleans.
"GET THE BLOODY JOB DONE" was the motto of the 135th Assault Helicopter Company, U. S. Army. This unit served in the Republic of Vietnam 1967 - 1972. What made this unit unique was that half of its personnel, officer and enlisted, were members of the Royal Australian Navy.I serverd my first tour in Vietnam as a pilot with the 135th in 1968-1969. It was interesting times and the bonds developed by soldiers in combat are as strong today as then.BlueEMU38
