this is Tembo the Elephant.
tembo is the swahili word for elephant
this piece is carved from african soap stone
It came from Kenya and it is my journey to return to the great rift valley
help me in my journey and there is a reward for the one who gets me there
take me all over and share me with others

this is one of a dozen sculptures i got from the masai people in Kenya while teaching and doing mission work there the masai are a beautiful people. caring and loving.
