The monkey is going for a couple plane rides back to Arizona today. Then next week he's travelling to Sydney, Australia. I hope he likes airplane rides!

Had to wait 'til I got home before posting the photos. This bug was traveling with 3 others. All on Maui, it visited: the Ocean Aquarium, the old banyan tree in Lahaina, the Old Lahaina luau (notice the big blob of poi on my plate; I love that stuff), the Dragon Teeth unusual lava formation, the pool at the Kaanapali Beach Club where we stayed, the tram ride at the Maui Tropical Plantation, the Hana State Beach, and the cache where I dropped it off (Water, Water everywhere GC2P8RW)

I had a great time hiking back to this cache again with '39Geezer as a companion. This was cache #4,000 for him and I was honored to be along for the fun. It was a beautiful morning in the Wasatch mountains, blue skies in every direction, snow hanging on to some of the bowls around mountain peaks, gorgeous wildflowers in abundance, and a herd of mule deer buck and a mountain goat that didn't seem to mind us sharing the mountain with us. What an awesome morning!

Hawaiian Monkey II will be headed to Hawaii soon via '39Geezer. I am going to miss that little monkey! :(
  • The Wasatch in bloom
  • Goodbye from the Pfeifferhorn Hawaiian Monkey II The Pfeifferhorn (in the distance); '39Geezer (in the foreground) will take Monkey to Hawaii soon.
