Current Goal

This Travel Bug's mission is to trade hands and visit as many Men and Women in the Service as possible. (This includes Veterans!)

About This Item

Currently I have one brother in the Army (82nd Airborne) and two cousins also in the Army as medics, together they have served 4 tours of duty in the War on Terrorism. My family has a rich history of military service, all my grandfathers served in WWII in the Army Corp of Engineers and in the Navy. As I do my family genealogy I find more and more of my ancestors who served in protecting this great country. (And some who fought for the CSA!) I hope to attach pictures of all of my current family in the service and my ancestors who have fought to defend our rights and freedoms. They serve as examples to me and I hope this Travel Bug will help those who pass it along share my families gratitude with our service men and women who sacrifice everything to keep us FREE!!!

It was a nice surprise to see this military memento. Thank you from an ex marine of the 9th marine regiment. I served in Vietnam in 68 and 69. our operational area was along the DMZ and the Laotian border. I salute all my fellow veterans of yesterday and today.

My disabled hubby is a decorated VietNam vet and a retired Army Master Sergeant. I grabbed this TB as soon as I saw the Go Army lanyard. We're headed back to our home in FL on Sunday, so I will drop this TB off asap in the Sunshine State. Thanks for thanking our vets!
