Nuts is one of Grandma’s strongest and most trusted beanie babies. Grandma isn’t able to travel anymore so she asked a select few of her beanie babies to journey to new areas she may not have seen before and to report back to her about their adventures. Nuts also needs your help. Nuts needed to find safe, dry resting places to stay while he traveled and he thought, “What better place than in a Geocache..” So he is hoping you will take him and let him spend a few days with you and when you are ready, to take him to his next Geocache location. Grandma would also love to see pictures of where Nuts travels so she can put them in her scrap book . Nuts hopes that someday he will return to Denver, Colorado (Castle Rock would be a perfect landing place) and that he can once again become a part of Grandma’s collection.
Nuts has spent most of his life in Grandma's apartment, sometimes chatting with her but mostly just sitting quietly. He never realized Grandma was preparing him all along and that he would be chosen for such a challenging role. Nuts is a wonderful travel mate and seems to make everyone's lives a little happier when he is with them. If you’re not watching him, Nuts will scurry around the house looking for goodies to hide in his nest. Please don’t feed him anything but gingerbread cookies.
