His mission is simply to explore new caches wherever they may be. If he could maybe eventually work his way to Kennedy Space Centre he would indeed be a happy astronaut.

Our Astronaut has been named after Arthur Wellesley, who was the 1st Duke of Wellington. The relevance of this is that he is being released at the first Cache that we have placed – Wellington’s Booty.
His mission, as stated above is simply to explore new caches wherever they may be. If he could maybe eventually work his way to Kennedy Space Centre he would indeed be a happy astronaut.
