About This Item

Dale Earnhardt Header2

Attached to this Travel Racer is a Large Rubber Dale Earnhardt # 3 tag and a License plate. The Nascar Cup Series was just Never the Same after that day in Daytona when Dale Crashed in Turn 4 and left this racing world. His love for the sport and living on the edge of the curve left Nascar to create innovations in safety to prevent such future tragedies. Please respect this travel racer, log it ASAP and keep it moving !!!

2011 is the 10th Anniversary of his last lap of Life, lets honor this sports hero by moving this Trackable along to each city he would have visited along the 2011 Season

More info on its disappearance

Hello,
On August 21, 2011 I dropped your TB in The "Bug Drop" Inn cache in Kansas City, KS right next to the SpeedWay. If you visit the cache's page and read through the logs you will see that the cache was muggled, the ammo can was lost and they have transferred ownership of the cache. I am afraid your TB was in ammo can when it got lost/muggled. Here is a link to the cache where I dropped your TB:

http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=d308297c-d312-45de-b4f0-be143b81ea74

However if you follow the dates of the logs you will see that it was a month after I dropped your TB that the cache was muggled/lost. Maybe somebody took your TB and never logged it properly. It still can show up later somewhere. However the new owner of this cache has marked all the TBs that were still listed in the cache as missing because they replaced the cache/ammo can with a new one.
