What's your thing? Justin isn't quite sure what his 'thing' is... Maybe you can help him find one by telling or showing what your 'thing' is? Other than geocaching, what makes your life fun? This Trackable wants you to post photos with things that make your life fun. This Justin Trackable would also like to try and meet up with one of the Galaxy trackables that are out there. Can you make that happen? To learn more about Splinterheads, please go to www.splinterheadsthemovie.com

About This Item

In the world of the traveling carnival the carnies are the rock stars and splinterheads are like the roadies.

This trackable was created and released to promote the 2009 movie Splinterheads.  I watched this movie, but it is not in my favorites or least favorite movies ever made, it is just average.  Because you are a geocacher you may like it better then 99% of the other "nerdy guy chases girl out of his league" movies out there.  Justin's love interest in the movie Galaxy is an avid geocacher, so as he falls for her he also comes to like geocaching a little too. It is probably better than whatever is on your TV anyway.

Along with these trackables they released this short informational trailer using clips from the movie to inform people about geocaching and promote the movie at the same time.

Are you interested, here is a synopsis with out any plot spoilers: Splinterheads tells the story of Justin Frost, a slacker whose life is turned upside down when a traveling carnival rolls in to town for the summer, bringing with it an outrageous crew of carnival workers like Amazing Steve and his girlfriend Wyoming, who call themselves 'splinterheads' and earn a living by hustling an endless stream of townies out of their hard-earned cash. When Justin begins to fall for one of them, a striking, street-smart con-artist named Galaxy, he finds that there are a few people in his life complicating his pursuit of his dream girl: a love-sick police sergeant who happens to be his mom's ex-boyfriend, his 116-year-old grandfather Albert, who is the newly minted "World's Oldest Living Man," his best friend and current employer Wayne Chung, and Galaxy's insanely jealous, belligerent carnie boyfriend Reggie.

Thanks to the producers of this film you can now watch this online for free in several places such as IMDB, Hulu, Netflix, etc.  It is rated R, but it is a very mild R rated movie and I think it would be suitable for most people except for very young children.  Watch full Splinterheads movie link from IMDB
