This Geocoin celebrates the UK National Heritage. Launched in Kew (a recent addition to the UN World Heritage Sites), it seeks to visit caches and locations close to points of heritage interest.


Photographs and longer descriptions, particularly welcome.

About This Item

To all corners of the British Isles

Interpret national heritage loosely. Any significant location, not just those listed, for instance by 'English Heritage' or 'Scottish National Heritage', should be considered valid.



This coin, as it travels from cache to cache, will let geocachers build and record our own database of the UK 'geo-heritage'.

We took this geocoin from Calgary, Alberta Nose Hill park during the Calgary Stampede. It had a nice couple of weeks with us.

The geocoin is now placed in beautiful Cochrane, Alberta. The park is in tribute to the first pioneers of Cochrane (cattle & sheep ranchers).

We are new to geocaching and this is our first time finding a geocoin. It's absolutely beautiful! We can't wait to find a lovely new home for it and will post photos soon.
