Brownie would like to travel to each of the fifty states of the United States of America. Then Brownie would like to travel to some countries across the ocean.

About This Item

This travel bug belonged to the 2006-2007 fourth grade class of CtK School. (They are now fifth graders.)

Brownie had belonged to one of the fourth graders. She wanted Brownie to travel from cache to cache, logging miles, and having fun discovering new places to see. Then, we as a class, can see where Brownie has traveled by checking out the sights on our US map. Have fun, Brownie!!!!

(This class has been promoted to fifth grade. But I will keep them informed of Brownie's travels.)

This was a small cache so Brownie didn't fit. Brownie landed in Atlanta and went with me to Alabama today. right now we are on the Georgia South Carolina border. - ScottWT -

    • Brownie at the Georgia Marker Brownie and I flew into Atlanta, but since I drove to Alabama I thought I would get a quick picture at the Georgia border.

Brownie didn't fit in the cache in Alabama. So I brought him to Georgia. He didn't fit in that one either. I'm going to find a bigger cache soon so Brownie can stay in a cache somewhere.

    • Brownie at the cache This is the cache at the Alabama Welcome center. Brownie didn't fit, so continued with me on my journey.

Brownie attended the "Coffee Get Together" in Newton, Iowa on Saturday morning. There had to be over 20 cachers meeting at a local coffee shop. Brownie met some of them and had a great time. Brownie is catching the early flight to the D.C. area tomorrow. At a minimum Brownie will attend a CITO in Virginia and hopefully get to Washington D.C. this trip. - ScottWT -

It was great to discover Brownie at the Coffee Get Together in Newton, IA today! Scouting is a family affair...2 Sr. Girl Scouts and a Dad who was a Girl Scout Leader longer than being a Cub Scout. 😁

Retrieve It from a Cache 3/31/2007 ScottWT retrieved it from Micro "At the Bend" Virginia   Visit Log

Brownie went caching today along a waterway called Goose Creek. It is fed by the Goose Creek Reservoir that supplies the drinking water to this part of Virginia. Goose Creek is a tributary of the Potomoc and in fact the cache Brownie visited was probably just over 1.5 miles from the Potomoc and just upstream from Washington D.C. Unfortunately the cachers in this area like hiding micro caches in the woods. So there was no room for Brownie to stay here today. I will try again, but it doesn't look like I'm going to get a nice big ammo can for Brownie this trip. However, I am coming back on April 9th, so we will see what we can do. I am hoping to get Brownie to Washington D.C. - ScottWT -
