Blaine the Insane Train wants to travel to Bangor, Maine, (hey, that rhymed) and have his picture taken at the famous dragon topped gates in front of Stephen King's house. His ultimate wish is to have his picture taken with Stephen King personally. Upon completion of his task he wants to be snail mailed back home to take his place in his owner's Stephen King collection. Along the way, he would like to take pictures with your SK memoribilia. BEWARE: Blaine may ask you a riddle. You will have a few days to answer it correctly, or your entry will be deleted, thus reducing your bug find stats by 1. SOLUTION: Post a note with the answer, or drop it into another cache ASAP. There's no rule against picking him right back up though and any previous finder can post a note with the with the correct answer as well if they want to help. MAKE SURE TO SAVE HIS SECRET NUMBER IF YOU WANT TO PARTICIPATE LATER.
Before I get into Blaine's back story, let me just say that when I first saw this little train, I said to myself, "Oh my God! That's Blaine!" It had been years since I had read SK's "Wizard and Glass," but neverless that name popped right into my head when I saw him. It's a Subway Sandwich Toy and I think the wrapper said Diesel #10 on it. It's from that kid show, Thomas somthing or other. Like the SK story, he is smiling, but that smile doesn't look happy. It looks spooky. Like he's thinking about murder, or some other evil deed...And parents wonder why their kids wet the bed. I bet a few of them have one of these lookin at them from some dark recess of their room.
Blain the train is very insane.
