LATEST UPDATE: The coin is back in Des Moines! How exciting!! We'd love to pick it up and celebrate its journey, but we don't have access to Premium Member caches. Would someone be able to drop it into a different Des Moines area cache? Thank you!!!
UPDATE: This coin made it to the Red Cross Headquarters!! Thank you so much SweetVABreeze and PlantAKiss for the picture. We'd love to have it make its way back toward Des Moines, Iowa. And thanks to all of the Geocachers that have helped it along the way!!!

The RC TB has met the first half of its mission...making it to Washington DC to have its pic taken in front of the American RC building, which is absolutely beautiful. This TB was picked up in the Chesapeake area and since I lived in Richmond I figured I could get it pretty quickly up to DC. I didn't expect to make it as quickly as I did, but it was an impromptu trip by me & my BFF who is the one who got me in to geo-caching. We lingered at the RC building a while due to the beginning of a pending storm that brought down some torrential rain. It was a fun trip. Thanks for honoring the RC by placing this TB. Hopefully it will make it the rest of the way to finalize its mission!!

Woohooo!! Your coin MET ITS GOAL!!!!! My BFF took it up to DC on Saturday, Feb. 25th, 2017 and I was along. I'm posting a picture of the building but she will post pics with the coin to confirm its arrival. Due to time and thunderstorms we were unable to drop it in DC. But it will be released to head back on its return journey soon. Thanks for sharing your coin and honoring the heroic women giving caring service to our country.

Saw goal of getting to D.C. Never logged cache in DC so I grabbed in order to get a pic of it in front of Red Cross building & drop it. Now my geoBFF & I can take another travel adventure , Richmond VA to D.C. Thx!
