Time is 9:30PM. It is long past dark, we have taken three wrong options in trying to find Tram Peak. Found out we programed coordinates incorrectly. The rain and wind have not let up. We feel we are very close to where the cache for Tram Peak could be found. We stop to rest on step number 200 as the wind almost blows us off the mountain. We are concerned about safety as we decide not to continue up the remaining 250 steps, stones are wet, wind is blowing, if something happened, then it would be real ugly getting back. We cry uncle. Interesting note to those with an LDS background; the date 7/14/49 is carved into the stone along the way - Matthew Cowley carved this the day they opened & dedicated Hong Kong & China to missionary work.
