10 Years of Geocaching Multi Event Geocoin

Believe it or not, I did a university study on the Navstar Global Positioning System many years ago, but had no idea the US Military unlocked the (military-use-only) higher level of precision to the general public until I discovered geocaching about a year ago. So to the 10th anniversary of the geocaching sport, I now celebrate my 1st anniversary as a geocacher!

Worked from the camper this week at the Pinery. Thought I'd host an event so I wouldn't get lonely when the rest of da Bush Family went back home. 😎

Visited 4/17/2024 da Bush Man took it to 🐔 🏒 🐔 Ontario, Canada - 33.59 miles  Visit Log

Soggy adventure with daBoiDoge grabbing a couple caches after the end of the OTE conference a few blocks away from Mark's new work, and then topping it off with beer & wings at the end!

Visited 2/29/2024 da Bush Man took it to Leap Into Action! CITO Ontario, Canada - .03 miles  Visit Log

Epic day with daBoiDoge meeting as many leap day badge add-ons as we could (since no official challenges exist). I hosted my own CITO to add that icon to the list, as well as have a great time seeing friends and the GeoBros.
To top it off, we enjoyed all the lights and sirens from our local EMS crew adding excitement to the event!

Epic day with daBoiDoge meeting as many leap day badge add-ons as we could (since no official challenges exist). Including an event where JohnnyP_ just happened to show up!

da Bush Boy and I had a fantastic time and really enjoyed seeing all the video shorts. And kudos goes out to our very own londonwesty who represented Canada and created an excellent video! Good to see you all again, especially those that had to leave early (you know who you are!). I won a GC annual membership in the draw!

No excuses being so close... and even then I was a half hour late. sheesh!

Visited 10/21/2023 da Bush Man took it to Golden Horseshoe Monthly Geocaching Club #167 Ontario, Canada - 46.78 miles  Visit Log

Did a crazy day with brain21 and too many km's on my feet walking on cement (ouch!). I can't wait to get back onto dirt paths!

Visited 9/4/2023 da Bush Man took it to Think Of A Clever Title CITO Ontario, Canada - 2,029.98 miles  Visit Log

Rumour has it somebody is placing a CITO for every month of the year challenge. Good an excuse as any to get an icon and visit some friends at the same time.

Visited 8/18/2023 da Bush Man took it to da Bush Man's Pilgrimage To Geocaching HQ! Washington - 4,403.84 miles  Visit Log

Totally monumental day shared with da Bush Lady including a pilgrimage to Geocaching HQ, earning the coveted Trifecta in less than 2 days (thanks watermanHQ for explaining what this was - I'm infamous for achieving such milestones almost always by accident!), and completing a 13 icon day! (it was almost sunset when I finally finished) Don't know how I'll top a day like this one!

Thanks all for attending our event today, we really enjoyed meeting all of you. Funny, I met two of the three guest parties at other venues earlier in the day which was quite remarkable in itself making the meet & greet more of a reunion LOL! And the third party was our fellow Canadian countrymen, so we felt right at home. Thanks for the laughs and we hope to meet you all again some day.
