About This Item

A copy of wooden doll made like the doll in the book, Hitty, Her First Hundred Years, by Rachel Field. Hitty’s first 2 years of caching hasn’t been great. She only meet 15 cachers. She did travel from west coast to the other cost. But in June 2004, she was swept away in a flood. She has now been revived and hopes to have some hitech adventures.

Funny that we grabbed her here. We to were at the RCDS Made in the Shade event in August but never saw her. So she is headed somewhere new but down into the bay area instead. momagna DSB

Wanted to drop Hitty off in an accessible spot, so chose this one. She's been to Paradise and back! Saturday she got a ride up to Sausalito and back to the peninsula, then Sunday off to Mariposa and down south into the hills to see a few lakes. She got dropped off here (Above the Fog on 168) so she could continue her adventures into the mountains with the next travelers. Hopefully she will get to see the wonders of Huntington and Edison lakes, as they are worth the visit!
