"Guiding Pals"

The “Guiding Pals” travel bug is a Canadian Girl Guide at heart.  She wants to travel the world in search of adventure and new friends.  She also wants to visit 4 specific locations.  The World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS) owns 4 World Centers.  The “Guiding Pals” travel bug would love to travel to each of these locations (in any order).

1 – Pax Lodge – This center is located in northern London.  The address is 12C Lyndhurst Road, London, UK.  Over the past 80 years there have been 3 different locations of the London World Center.  This location opened in 1991.

2 – Our Chalet – Opened in 1932.  It is high in the mountains on the outskirts of the beautiful village of Adelboden, Switzerland.

3 – Our Cabaña – This center is located approx 47 miles from Mexico City in the city of Cuernavaca, Mexico.  It opened in July 1957.

4 – Sangam – Founded in 1966, Sangam is located in Pune, India, on the banks of the Mula River.

This travel bug was released by the 32^nd Grouse Guides.  They are a Girl Guide unit in North Vancouver, BC, Canada.  The girls had a great time hiking & learning about geocaching.  They are looking forward to watching the “Guiding Pals” travel bug’s travels.  The Guides hope the travel bug will bring happiness to everyone it visits.
