CURRENT GOAL: Travel back to Texas to my family the vanderarbans

STORY and UPDATES:

I am a Travel Slug. By nature slugs don't move very quickly. So I would like to hitchhike along with you on your adventures to see the world and all of the many amazing sites it holds. In less than one year I travelled from Texas to the far Northwest US and back to my Texas owners and then to geowoodstock 2012 and almost back home again! I love to show pictures to my family of all of the places I have been and things I have done during my travels(my family doesn't get to travel very often). So if you could take and upload photos that would be awesome! I have a family of SEVEN at home that would be very excited to see all of the lovely places I have been.

Owners Log.  May 2013.  SO excited that SLug is going to Geowoodstock again!  two years in a row!  hurray.  I hope he doesn't get eaten by a crocodile while there.  Would love to travel back towards TEXAS to see family!  AND pictures are welcome too

Owners Log. July 9th 2011.  I have updated Slugs goal as we found he has an opportunity to travel to Australia with a friend if he makes it home to North Texas by September 2011!

Owners Log.  July 4, 2011 Independence Day!  Slug Has travelled from Texas To Geowoodstock in Pennsylvania.  Thus meeting one leg of his goal to see the NE US.  We hope he can find his way back to Texas quickly to beat his previous record of Travelling from Texas to the NW US and back in less than one year.  But not in such a hurry that he misses out on some great sites during his travels!

Owners Log.  May 22, 2011!  The travel slug has travelled to the northwest and back home to us in Texas, 3873 miles in less than one year since it's release! We were reunited with him today thanks to the generosity of LeraPlusOne. we never thought we would ever actually see him again or that he would travel so far and back so quickly! He is going to visit us for awhile and be re- released to travel to Geowoodstock 2011 to see if he can make it to the far NE US and back in under a year!  He hasn't even aged since he left!  WOW.  Who ever said slugs were slow!

Owners Log.  July 10, 2010!  tearfully but excited said goodbye to Travel Slug and left him in Oregon nearby to family to see the world.

    Found the trackable between Jacksonville, TX and Bullard, TX. It’s next stop will be along the Brazos River in Waco or near Baylor. (Sic ‘em Bears!). Will send pics of new home.
