Happy 100th Anniversary Girl Guides of Canada! Girl Guides of Canada-Guides du Canada enables girls to be confident, resourceful, courageous and to make a difference in the world. On April 10 (100th day of the year) during the years 2010 through 2012 our World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts will have activities themed to Plant, Grow and Share. In April 2010 we launch our Geocoin in hopes that our Units will take part in a unique initiative “planting” these treasures for others to seek, hide and move all over the world.

About This Item

This is an official Geocoin celebrating 100 years of Girl Guides in Canada, in 2010. It is beautiful and has the inscription "Girl Greatness Starts Here"

    I am sorry to have to report this as missing. The girls will be disappointed that it has not gone farther than Canada. Please if you have this coin, place it in a cache. These geocoins were meant to go around the world to celebrate our 100 yr of Guiding in Canada.

    As I headed for the cache that this one was dropped in, I was excited at the prospect of finding a GGC coin since I am a member myself. Unfortunately, there was no sign of it in the cache. I hope someone just need to get around to logging it.
