About This Item

Happy 100th Anniversary Girl Guides of Canada! Girl Guides of Canada-Guides du Canada enables girls to be confident, resourceful, courageous and to make a difference in the world. On April 10 (100th day of the year) during the years 2010 through 2012 our World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts will have activities themed to Plant, Grow and Share. In April 2010 we launch our Geocoin in hopes that our Units will take part in a unique initiative “planting” these treasures for others to seek, hide and move all over the world.

This coin has been started by the 1st Saskatoon Trex Unit ---- Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada

What is Trex? Trex is part of Girl Guides of Canada. It is an "extraordinary option" for girls aged 12-18. (No, it's not t-rex as in the dinosaur!) Girls in Trex focus on camping, outdoors, and adventure activities. Backpacking, rock climbing, kayaking, scuba diving, and cross-country skiing are just some of the things a girl in Trex might do.

    Our family is on vocation from Columbus, Ohio. We are staying at the Hyatt West lake Plaza.

    We thought this was an easier terrain cache. It kinda needs a extra star on it. Discovered that it was a tall mountain trail, We were on some thin ice with the time. We had to pick laundry up. It was a great cache though. Took the travel bug and replaced my NEW TB. I got shot with a needle. Son took the picture, fun cache for all ages. TFTC/SL/Earns a Favorite Point.
