Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a disease of the central nervous system: the spinal cord and brains. The central nervous system can not process certain signals, because the insulation (myelin) around the nerve is affected. Some bodyfunctions cannot function or cannot function optimally. MS is very significant both for the individual as for his or her environment. 

In the Netherlands suffer one in 1,000 people with this nerve-racking disease and yet there is no cure or treatment against the disease found so research remains important. If you want to know more about the MS Research Foundation and Multiple Sclerosis please visit Website
