This geocoin I'm sending into the world to honour engineer T/Sgt Robert W. Buchholz (16027760) who died in WW II in Osek, Czech Republic. Osek is a small town (6.000 people) - similar like a town Tomah, where he was born.

  • The coin made it! This one was special as I am of Czech decent. It took me quite awhile to find Roberts resting place but alas..success! Going.now to visit Vets Park!

Out and about hittin the road on a beautiful sunny but slightly windy Saturday going to Prairie du Chien from Wisconsin Rapids to visit with my son. Geocaching on the way makes the drive a little more fun...I discovered this cool geocoin here in Tomah, WI at a Tank geocache hide in the Veterans Park! I left it there and I hope the rest of the mission gets completed! Thank you for sharing it with me.
