I am Fern Fossil and a Belemnite Fossil. Fern Fossil: I am from St. Clair, Pennsylvania. I was found in the Llewellyn Formation, and I’m over 300 million years old. I am a very detailed white fern embedded on a striking contrast of black shale. Belemnite Fossil: I am a belemnite fossil (or belemnoid) and I am from an extinct group of marine cephalopods, very similar in many ways to the modern squid and closely related to the modern cuttlefish.

I always pick up these bugs and think back to just the right place, that we previously  visited ,  for them.     In the case of Paleo-bug--it would be Fossil Park;.   .Can't even offer to take him there--it's in    California and we won't be heading that way too soon.   So have to put on our thinking caps and see what I can come up with.
